Meet Maddie from Maddison Jayne Design: A Creative Force in Wedding Stationery

I’m excited to kick off my series introducing you to some of my all-time favorite vendors! These are individuals I have worked with extensively who consistently go above and beyond for their clients. They truly believe that the best weddings are created when creatives come together to collaborate, bringing unique visions to life.

We sat down with the incredibly talented Maddie from Maddison Jayne Design whose unmatched creativity and ability to interpret concepts and elevate them into emotive, curated and heart-felt designs truly set her apart in the wedding and event stationery space. Inspired by romance, fairytales, natural textures, architecture, modern fonts and timeless hues, Maddie is a talent whose work has featured in Vogue and Together Journal. I’ve also had the pleasure of collaborating with Maddie many times including most recently for the collateral for my beautiful Spring Soiree pop-up.

One of the standout aspects of Maddie's work is her knack for incorporating unexpected elements into events. For example, she once created a custom deck of cards that served as a guest book, allowing guests to write messages for the couple. “They could then use this and remember/laugh at all the messages and quirky things people would write when playing card games,” she explains. This playful touch reflects her belief in the power of personalisation and creativity in the wedding industry, where she thrives on collaborating with other talented vendors. “I love working with creative people who push my boundaries to make me think outside the box,” she shares, emphasising the inspiration she draws from those partnerships.

Maddie’s journey in the industry has been nothing short of remarkable. One of her proudest moments was transitioning her side hustle into a full-time gig within just a year. “It’s wild to think about how I made that happen!” she reflects.

To get a glimpse of Maddie's fun personality, we asked her three rapid-fire questions:

What’s your favourite Petal + Peach cake flavour?

“Sticky Date, Red Velvet, and Vanilla Malt—obviously, I don’t have one, so half the reason we needed three Petal + Peach wedding cakes!”

If your business had a theme song, what would it be?

“Anything by JLO! If you know me, you know how much I LOVE JLO!”

What’s your signature cocktail?

“A Margarita—you can make it as spicy as you would like or keep it as simple and classic.”

Looking ahead, if Maddie could design a wedding for her dream client, she would focus on creating an unforgettable experience. “It’s all about how this makes people feel and leaving everyone remembering it for days, months, years to come,” she says, highlighting her commitment to crafting lasting memories.
