How do I order a BESPOKE cake?
Please submit a quote request form. By providing as many details as possible including date, number of serves required, size of the portion (dessert or coffee) and any specific design features you like we are able to provide you with a quick and accurate quote. It is also helpful to send images and/or links of the inspiration for your event including pictures of table settings, invitations, dresses, flowers etc. In some instances, you may know exactly what you would like and we can work with your vision to create something spectacular. In other instances you may only have a general idea or collection of ideas that need editing – we can help you with this too.
How far in advance should I order my cake?
As soon as you know about your event and the type of cake you would like, please book it in. Although we may be able to make a cake with two weeks notice, there is a risk that as we move closer to your desired date, we will become booked out. We would really hate to disappoint you! We are a boutique cakery that strictly takes a limited number of wedding cake bookings each week and find that most clients book their cake 6-9 months in advance.
Can I collect my bespoke cake?
Single tier cakes and cupcakes can be collected from our cake studio and self-transported. This appointment time is allocated to you at the time of your booking and confirmed one week prior to the collection day. Spaces are strictly by appointment and subject to availability. Petal + Peach does not accept responsibility for collected cakes damaged in transit.

Confirmation and payment
Upon payment of your retainer, a binding contract exists.
Cake Variations
Every cake is handmade, from scratch. As such, no two cakes will ever be exactly the same. Photographs of previously completed cakes are to be used as a general guide only.
Do I need to refrigerate my cake?
Your cake is finished in buttercream which is made up mostly of delicious butter. To maintain the exceptional finish of your cake we recommend storing your cake in the fridge until just prior to the commencement of your celebration. Once your cake has been displayed and cut, some flavours (such as those with a cream cheese filling) will need to be returned to the fridge. It is important that you eat your cake at room temperature, so once you begin to cut the portions allow them to sit for a moment before serving to your guests.
How long will I be able to store my bespoke cake?
If it outlasts the event (which it usually doesn’t), your cake can stay in the fridge for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
